After completing training at CAE Madrid, Madrid, Spain (Flight School) for training in airbus A320 type rating in 2011, and in 2014 he appointed as a captain of Indigo Airlines. He was associated long 6 years with Indigo Airlines as a pilot. In 2019 he left Indigo for some personal reason and shipped to Air Asia Airlines. But in June 2020, the company fired him and ended his career as a pilot, after he made a sparking controversial statement about the passenger’s safety measures.

On 14th June 2020, during the worldwide Covid19 or Coronaviruses pandemic, he tweeted that he has been suspended by Air Asia Airlines after he made a controversial statement regarding their passenger’s safety measures. The next day on 15th June, he posted a detailed video on YouTube titled “Reasons behind suspension from my pilot job“.He alleged in the video that the airline has asked its pilots to do 98 per cent of landings in “Flap 3” mode, which allows it to save fuel. He said if a pilot does not do 98 per cent of landings in “Flap 3” mode, the airline considers it a violation of its standard operating procedure or SOP. Flaps are part of the wings of an aircraft and they are engaged to create drag during a landing or a take-off.He gave the example of the Imphal airport, where the plane descends more steeply as compared to other airports when approaching for landing. He said when an aircraft is coming down steeply, it needs to have a drag so that it remains slow, and in these circumstances, a pilot has to do a “flap full” landing.
