She started her career as an Anchor on the Doordarshan channel in 2006. Sonali made her debut in 2016 with Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma serial. The serial was aired on the Zee TV channel. In 2019, she appeared in the Haryanvi movie Chohoriya Choron Se Kam Nahi Hoti. Sonali also participated in Bigg Boss 14 as a contestant.
