Callan Ryan Claude McAuliffe was born on January 24th, 1995. Hailing from New South Wales,  Australia, he is best recognized for his appearances in Flipped and I Am Number Four. In the 2013 film The Great Gatsby, he played a younger Jay Gatsby. Alden is the character he represented in The Walking Dead in the year 2017.
Callan was appointed the UNICEF Australia National Ambassador in November 2013. For his achievements, he is also the Youth Ambassador of Wolf Connection, a Californian non-profit organization that works to rescue and rehabilitate wolves, as well as to educate and empower the next generation.

Career

He made his acting debut in the Aussie series Comedy Inc. when he was eight years old and went on to star in Blue Water High when he was nine. After that, he appeared on Packed to the Rafters as a regular cast member. Further, he was featured as “Franswa Sharl” in an Australian short film in 2009 and appeared in “Resistance (2009). Flipped, directed by Rob Reiner, was McAuliffe’s feature film debut in the United States. While vacationing in the United States, he auditioned for the film and secured the male lead of Bryce. Wendelin Van Draanen’s 2001 book of the same name acts as the basis for the film.
As of May 2010, McAuliffe was involved in the science fiction film I Am Number Four, which is being directed and produced by Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay, highly inspired by the novel of the same name penned by Pittacus Lore. Sam, Alex Pettyfer’s best buddy, was performed by him. His next role was that of young Quick Lamb in the Australian miniseries Cloudstreet adapted to Tim Winton’s novel. As an adolescent Jay Gatsby, McAuliffe starred in Baz Luhrmann’s 2013 cinematic adaptation of The Great Gatsby. The next year, Callan appeared in the film Beneath the Harvest Sky (2013).
Before the movie was discontinued, McAuliffe had been selected as Archangel Uriel with Djimon Hounsou in Alex Proyas’ action movie Paradise Lost.
As one of the teenage companions of Julian Assange, Callan made an appearance in a television film in Australia in 2012 called ‘Underground: The Julian Assange Story. Kite, the 1998 Japanese animation film, will be made into a live-action feature starring McAuliffe, Samuel L. Jackson, and India Eisley, this one was confirmed on 3 February 2013. As Daniel Ryan in The Legend of Ben Hall, an Australian period drama centered around the real accounts of bushranger Ben Hall shall have McAuliffe as a cast member. The Hill Ghost, McAuliffe’s debut novel, was published in 2018. 

Early Life

Clontarf, a suburb of Sydney, is home to Callan McAuliffe. His parents are  Claudia Keech and Roger McAuliffe, who is a novelist and journalist. Jacinta John, Callan’s cousin, works in the same industry as him. She is an actress. Callan’s grandparents were Irish.
Scotland College, a boys-only institution in Bellevue Hill, was McAuliffe’s alma mater of choice. He was the school’s chief chorister and received top credits in the London Trinity Musical Theatre examinations in 2008. Injuries to his knees forced him to shift his attention from track athletics to the performing arts.

Family and Personal Life

New South Wales, Australia, is where Callan was born to mother Claudia Keech and father Roger McAuliffe who is an author and a journalist. He will be 26 years old in 2021. He celebrates his birthday on the 24th of January. 
Information regarding Callan’s love life is little available because he prefers to preserve his personal life completely private. It is not clear if he is currently dating someone.
