- Shetty, in 2021, bagged a lead role in Dushyanth Sridhar directed Sanskrit language historical film ‘Sakuntalam.’ The film is a narration of Kalidasa’s work Abhigyaan Shakuntalam. She played the lead role of Shakuntala, the daughter of sage Vishvamitra and damsel Menaka, opposite Shubham Sahrawat who portrayed Dushyanta, the King of Hastinapur who belonged to the dynasty of Puru and Chandravamsa.
